About Us – Named after California’s Superstition Mountain desert recreation area, Superstition Motors opened for business in July of 2009. It operated as a general automotive repair facility in El Cajon until moving to Spring Valley in 2015.
Superstition Motors has evolved into a business to business organization which now provides diagnostic support and specialized services to repair shops, auto body shops and other licensed dealers.
About Jack
As a young man, Jack had a passion for solving automotive problems and making vehicles work. After studying math, physics and mechanical engineering, Jack worked as a production welder, fabricator and auto mechanic. He joined a desert race team as a race mechanic and found himself re-building and driving a championship race vehicle.
Jack is an ASE Certified Master Automobile Technician. He is an ASE Certified Master Collision Repair Technician. He holds ASE Advanced Level Specialist certification in engine performance, electronic diesel engine diagnosis and light duty hybrid electric vehicles. He holds general repair certification for brakes, suspension and steering, drive trains and axles, automatic transmissions/transaxles, exhaust systems, heating & air conditioning, electrical/electronic systems and engine repair. He holds collision certifications for structural analysis and damage repair, non-structural analysis and damage repair, painting & refinishing, mechanical & electrical components. He is an ASE Service Consultant and a past member of the Automotive Engine Rebuilders Association (AERA).
